Parking

• Please don’t park in the Independence Golf Course parking lot or on Founders Bridge Boulevard
• Our parking lot is prioritized for the visiting team
• Two handicap spots are available in the pool parking lot
• Home team and overflow parking should be on residential streets near pool (Founders Bridge Road and Swallowtail Place)

Facility

• 25m pool, 6 lanes for racing
• Diving blocks set up at deep end (5 ft) with dive over starts
• 5 ft deep at start end, 3.5 ft deep at turn end
• All starts from shallow end are from the water
• Bathrooms available in pool house
• Baby pool and adult pool will be closed during meet
• Outside food/drink permitted, but NO GLASS ALLOWED ON POOL DECK

• 5:15 Gates open
• 5:35 – 5:55 Founders Bridge warm ups
• 5:55 – 6:15 Visiting team warm ups
• 6:15 Timers and runners meeting (by timing table)
• 6:15 Strokes and turns meeting (by snack bar)
• 6:20 National anthem
• 6:25 Kickboard/fun race
• 6:30 Meet start

General

• Visiting team seating: in front of white columns and around adult pool
• Home team seating: on slide side
• Clerk of course: Under blue tent. All swimmers regardless of age should check in with clerk of course when their events are called
• Lane 1 is the farthest lane; Lane 6 is closest to the white columns
• Timing table: Next to Lane 6
• Computers/tables: On back deck of clubhouse (top of stairs)
• We will print heat sheets for visiting assistant clerk of course and strokes & turns judges
• Please share any special needs or accommodations for swimmers with the Electric Eels swim team director

Concessions

• Snacks, candy, water, drinks, frozen treats available for sale as well as a hot food item (usually pizza and/or Chick-fil-A sandwiches)
• Concessions accepts cash and credit cards

• 9 timers (per half)
• 1 assistant clerk of course (per half)
• 1 mite manager (per half)
• 1 runner (per half)
